Backpack Buddies

The Backpack Buddies program provides support to local school children in need, with the number growing each year. Each child in need receives a bag filled with meals every week.

We need help delivering the bags to Potowmack from the trailer behind St Matthew's church in Sterling, just a few miles down the road. In order to help, you should be able to lift and transport up to 120+ Backpack Buddies bags (using St Matt's utility cart) to your vehicle, and then from your car to the school. Deliveries will need to be done during school hours, preferably on Wednesday or Thursday.
